old button help

I found this in southeast mi. it appears to have a crown at the top, a "shield" in the middle of 2 griffins , I believe it might be brass. I have looked at 1000's of pictures of buttons but I have not found this design. any help is much appreciated.

My guess is Family Crest and what little I know is each symbol has a meaning. Probably an early settling family to that area (just a guess). "Good Luck"
