Old Copper & Gold (?) Ring

Pretty psyched to find this ring. It seems relatively old, made of copper with some thin strips of gold (or maybe brass? Not sure). Despite being copper-based, it's actually kind of delicate as it's pretty "bendy."

Anyway, I cleaned it up and already put it on - hopefully I'll gain super human strength or the ability to control some other-worldly beings!

Did you acid test it? Is it stamped for gold? If it has real yellow gold the "Copper" is probably rose gold. I have never seen pure copper and gold together. Copper tarnishes Not a good combo

No, I didn't test it and I'm hunting in the middle east, so it may be quite possible to find stuff that pre-dates stamping. Regardless, you have a valid point- the yellow metal is probably brass.
