Hey all. I recently went hunting at an abandoned house from around 1910 by my school which is on the verge of collapse. I've gotten some very common but nice finds.

I got 8 wheats, an old Jefferson, a tax token, a masterlock key, and a china plate makers mark.
The better finds are the Bakelite dice (or is it dice?) note: where the one would be is blank. Does that mean anything?, the 1906 v nickel- my first, and vitro multicolor, another vitro, and a shooter marble.

The tax tokens are a common find but i like finding them. It's just a nice little piece

Looks like good finds to me. My first " older " coin was a V, so I am partial to them.

WTG WF!!!. :occasion14: Enjoy the elation while it lasts. :headbang: It's always a great hunt that produces a first. You can mark that one off your bucket list. Looks like a very good site to hunt. I'd go back and hit it in a different direction.:metaldetector:

I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas... :icon_santa:

Congrats on your first "V" Nickel. I really like that tax token though. I have found them from Illinois, Missouri, Alabama, & Oklahoma. Don't have one from Louisiana yet, & that's why I seem to like it !

Thanks y'all. Does anyone know of a way to clean the v nickel?

I want an old dice! Looks hand carved, then given up on since the top view is blank (little crooked too). Is it bone or antler? Prob stone?

Congrats! I love those old nickles. Pretty good haul for an abandoned house.

I think the dice is Bakelite based on what I've read, although maybe antler though....
