So today I went to a small lot with 4 empty houses that were built around 1900. I have spoke with the owner and he said many people have been over it in the past but the last time he knew of was about 10 years ago. Found A LOT of junk and some other things, I will post them later but THIS I was super stoked over. Its an old trade token but it looks to have green paint on it. How should I go about cleaning this off?

If it's truly paint, acetone should do the trick without discoloring the metal. It might be clean and shiny under the paint but acetone won't hurt the patina.
