found it along the potomac has to be the oldest coin i've found i did second oldest was a 1747 skilling - im going back tomarrow!

Nice pewter US Militia Button. Watch for edge flaking, and paint some elmers glue on the edges and let it dry to keep the flaking from happening.

Nice work on the Louisiana Copper ya got there. Beat me by one year on the oldest coin. I dug a 1722 H 6 Deniers last year LOL.
