First post for a while, but I thought this coin good enough to share it with the treasurenet crew...
I have submitted it on another website, so if you've seen it there I apologise.
Searched a new area today, not very productive & very hard work to dig just a handful of finds. I ended the day with a fine (but twisted) silver ring, a George II halfpenny 1742, a George V penny 1919 & pride of place to a George III Silver Halfcrown 1817. Just 6 months ago I'd not found a single H/crown, but now I've got 5....This is the oldest, and its in pretty fine condition.
Attached are photos of the coin, plus one of the ring.
