I have a few. My FAVORITE has to be the 1968-S proof that I found when I first started. It was my first silver half AND my first proof coin in the wild. I also like my 1913-P (it was dateless) buffalo nickel, which is my oldest coin find to date. I also like the 1964 Kennedy that I found last week. I've been searching half boxes since May and it was the first 90%er half I have found. I also like all the proofs I've found too.

I bet that was pretty awesome finding that 68-s silver proof!!! I just recently found a silver proof dime...thought it was plated but the weight told me otherwise!!

Thanks for sharing!!

Happy holidays!

I have found 2 proof dimes, neither silver though. That's on my list of goals though! I remember you posting about it (I think). What year was it and have you found any other proof dimes (clad or silver)? Mine were 1982-S and 2004-S.

Hey Coin Town
Glad to see you're still on the prowl.
My Favorite find is probably... my most recent. A 1900 V-Nickel in bad shape. But I love it:D

You did recently see a post about it thanks for remembering! It was a 1999 silver proof!

I have found a few nickel proofs and quite a few half dollar proofs. It's cool finding something that should not be found in circulation!

I haven't been doing this too long, but I'd have to go with my first 90% half - a 1945 Walker.

Hard enough to narrow down to three!
1900 Canadian
1970 D/S
1970 D sticks in my mind, as it was the only half at the bank inside Walmart when I began roll hunting again.

Hmm...
#1 is my MS64 RD 1999 WAM.
#2 is probably my Uncirculated 1935 Walker.
#3 is my 1946 DDR WLH.

1917 Mercury dime. It's my oldest CRH find and I just plain like the design of those coins.

My very best still after all these years was a 1917-D Obverse MM in XF. When it rolled out, I couldn't believe the condition. She's a dirty lady, and others couldn't understand my excitement over another dirty lady.
