I got an early start today in the cold and struck out for a school where I dug many kids' jewelry items last month. But I could only detect about 1/4 of the available lawn area that time. Today, I took it slow and dug all good and even "iffy" signals, again in only about 1/4 of the available lawn area. (So I am only half done with this school lawn!) The old ATPro sniffed out TEN rings today, one being an Avon marked .925 sterling ring with pale green and pink stones. It was found wadded up in a ball with a rusting steel necklace and pendant. Of course, it was directly underneath the goal box on the soccer field. The other nine rings are costume bling, mood rings, and India marked and unmarked aluminum rings.

Also scored a large Boy Scout neckerchief slide, a Jack O' Lantern pendant, and an Eiffel Tower earring. (Strange, this is the second Eiffel Tower piece of jewelry I have dug this month!) Thanks for looking, A Very Merry Christmas to all of you and Happy Hunting. We have 8 days left to reach our 2015 quotas! Sub 8-)

Congrats for ringing in Christmas sub :icon_santa: Looks like you had plenty of good targets to dig. My wife would be happy if I dug more bling.

Sut,
A little study of human nature, a good machine, a little luck, and alot of persistence/ endurance usually brings home the (silver or gold) bacon. On schools, there are high traffic areas for both kids and adults (teachers, coaches, yard monitors, parents, etc....) I just survey the land and see where I would spend the most time at if I were a kid playing, or an adult supervising.) Usually proves fruitful. I dig all signals, trashy and good, in or near the tot lots, playground equipment, basketball courts, asphalt-lawn edges, soccer fields, softball fields, football fields, fencelines, & pavilions. Best of luck, go get your share and show it off, I would really enjoy seeing your finds. Sub 8-)

Great job. Best I have done is 6 in one day but 4 were silver and one was 14K and that was just one sideline. They locked up the field for the winter so next spring as soon as those locks come off...good luck finding me..:laughing7:

Excellent day! I was going for the "on the 5th day of Christmas....." thing today. Didn't happen but you
seem to have doubled that, almost!

About quotas? I gave those up when I retired!

Merry Christmas!
