I don't think the big thing is a harmonica. After I cleaned it up it looks more like it was a

The IH alone was well worth your time! That is an odd item, even has Blingie scratching his little head! Wonder if it was one of those combs that slides out?

Well, I don't think so. This case opened vertically. To narrow & shallow to be an eyeglass case. :dontknow:

I doubt it was a pipe case, seems too shallow. Maybe a modern straight razor case? :dontknow:

With thanks to "flyadive" over on the "What is it" forum, this proved to be a case for reading glasses.

About the indian head? Ya know, I didn't even realize it was a key date. LOL
