My brief searches suggest leather handle on the Cub ended in 58.
In 59 medallions were being inserted/inlaid. Starting with copper in 59.
Looks challenging to date.

Ah yes, after a bit of interweb searching... You are correct sir!
Beginning in 1959, all Bear bows had a coin medallion of one type or another. The coin was copper in 1959, then changed to Aluminum in 1960-61, and Pewter in 1962. Brass coins were used in 1963-1970, and nickel-silver in 1971-72.
With my draw length I would be suited for a 68-70 inch bow. This being 62 is going to get pulled a bit further. It was inherited from my father-in-law.
