i visited another large park nr by, with dusk falling pretty rapidly, and metal detected a area 30ft by 30ft in, a bark covered floor again, and found a shiny 50p at the bottom of the slide, and a further 3 x 5p, 3 x 10p, 12 x 2p, 23 x 1p, in about 20 mins, before i needed carrots to see in the dark (joke), i think a return is needed, because last year, i spent 6hrs in the park, and came out with £26.00

What is the breakdown as far as denominations of coins? Is most of your total one pound coins, or small denominations?

That is a lot of cash. I would imagine with loss frequencies like that, that you will find a good ring or two or three in that park.

Better get it before the other guys!
the £26.00 was broken down, probably from what i can remember..... 5x £1 pounds, and £10 in 20p,50p,5p.....£10 in 2p,1p.....it was a lot of coins
