I have been getting busy,not to mention the heat is getting pretty bad,so haven't been out as much ,but the old hammock is still popping out lc's every trip or 2
I thought this was yet another kg,or a half cent but it turned out to be a ct copper,pretty cool

For us ( me ) not so knowledgeable mder's who don't know crap about coins...What is a state copper? I understand its a coin...but history? States had thier own coinage at one time? Now I gotta go look this one up.....

A good source for knowledge is to start with --The Official Red Book--A Guide to U.S. Coins,any american and colonial/post colonial coinage should be in there,if I cant find it there google is my friend

simply put we are calling them state coppers,when they can be called post colonial...coppahs
