the "left" cig was tabacco --a gift of respect / peace in the old time american indain world -- to just "take" without a return gift was a act of disrespect / war --the bullet exchange also covers as an exchange gift --its an american indain tribal thing --white folks don't understand it unless they are told about it. humm you some how picked up on the indain culture gift exchange process ( maybe you were around native americans at one time or learned of it some way) -- tabacco was a highly prized gift back in the day -- to give it was a great honor to the reciever it meant the giver held you in high honor . --- a bullet would also be a good "gift" -- a modern replacement for the arrowhead --used for the same basic purpose as a arrowhead would be. -- no insult meant by the term whites (non native american types) was just explaining that most folks that have not been exposed to the belief system would go huh? whats he doing? burying a cig?--- Ivan

speaking of...... the other night i wanted to take my cousin to a place i found a few years ago. i go at night time, fear of people stealing them (indian wells) . i found a few years ago, actually uncovered them. i always bury them when i leave, i can find them in the dark, with just moonlight. when i was younger, a lady told me there were hundreds all over the desert here, people used bulldozers and took them all away. now there are only a few left. the liquid in those is "go go juice" we shared with them and no worries, we took our cigg butts with us.

A good way to spend exactly one cent is to buy a one-cent stamp at the post office. Try a time when there isn't a long line though.
