just curious, where do you get more value for the copper pennies? is there a place you sell them? i was told it was illegal to sell copper pennies? i'm jist wondering because i have two big coffee cans full of pennies that i've yet searched.
American cents/pennies are illegal to sell to a refinery, recycler, scrap yard to melt. You can however sell them to a copper hoarder or save them yourself.
You can sell via Craigslist or FeeBay. you wont get melt value but you should be able to get more than .01 per coin.
