Permission for the weekend

So today I got permission to MD on a 80 Acre Horse ranch in Northern CA. It was originally a Mining claim around the late 1800's. No one has done any mining on it for over 75 years. It has a nice creek that cuts the property in half. They are sure there is gold in the creek but they are up in years and don't want/need to mess with it.

I'm going this weekend and going to hit the creek that is dry this time of year and all around the 4 houses and 3 barns on it. This is only the 2nd family to ever own this property and no one has ever MD'd on it. Wish me luck I will post whatever I find Sunday night.

Wow! Sounds like a great place to hunt. Start out by digging all sounds to see what is on the site. There might be some interesting relics that you might otherwise pass up if you're just after coins and nuggets.
