Never on my radar till you mentioned it.
Very affordable for sure and compact.

Did you have any problems while you were breaking it in?

You could buy two of the Diamondbacks for the price of a Kimber micro 9 or a Sig P938.
Somehow I think the latter two would be a little more pleasant to shoot due to being slightly heavier.

I've really had no issues with the DB-9. I've probably shot 300+ rounds through it. I remember 1 jamb early on but my M&P jambed on the same ammo. Like I said it is not something to spend a lot of range time with but it shoots well and is really small.

Individually we do not bear arms because we are afraid. We bear arms as a declaration of capacity. An armed man can cope-either in the city or the wilderness-and because he is armed he is not afraid. This is the root of the gun banners. They fear and hate us because we are not afraid. We are overwhelmingly "Other" in a way that emphasizes his affliction.Jeff Cooper. How ya,ll like them apples?

Thoughts...any advice?

Nickel plated Colt Python. I love this gun. They are big and heavy. You have to want to pull trigger. There bark is pronounced and they’ll knock the bumper off a small pickup truck. They are good shooters, you can hit a target down range, reliable and safe.
As far as concealed, there might be an outline but I think better for the world to see. Its hidden enough for someone to say to self hmm is that what I think it is? I best move on.

Forget about concealing it, its like a heavy freaking cannon. I had a 6" many years ago,And IF your shooting 357 loads wear Ear Protection.I emptied it once while deer hunting w/o protection and my ears Rangggg for a week .:tongue3:

Missouri has had it for a while now, I have a conceal license and I will most likely renew it when it is due even though I wouldn't be required to. Just for the little added insurance it may provide by being at least official.
I will semi quote a known firearms attorney in Missouri, If your are every forced to defend yourself with your firearm, it will most likely be in one of the large liberal run cities, and the liberals that run that city are going to do what ever they can to put you in prison for defending yourself. Just food for thought, so prepare yourself.

By having your conceal carry even though not required it allows you to legally carry in other states when traveling if they have a reciprocal conceal law..

Well let’s think about this...what other rights specifically mentioned in the manual of restrictions require you to qualify for...apply for.....jump hoops for...etc. in order to exercise? As if it’s a privilege like a drivers license?

Something ain’t right with that. It may make sense to certain societies in certain historical periods, but 1+1 isn’t equaling 2 anymore.

“A person may not be required to provide reasons to exercise a right. The right’s existence is the only reason he needs.”

Wise words by of all people a JUDGE!

That means the possibility of having to break the law with the risk of having to defend your rights in a court of law. Not a sacrifice or risk many are willing to take...

Stop and think about THAT for a minute. Defending your rights in court pales in comparison to what countless before us gave up to protect those same rights. I’m struggling to embed this into the way I live my life. It’s difficult knowing you are up against an “opponent” that literally has unlimited resources and funds. With the guise of taking the high road to protect innocent people at the peril of all our rights. It’s a hard argument to win in the minds of jurors. I’m not sure there is any good solution.

Been teaching basic and advanced defensive/tactical pistol/carbine classes for 25+ years.....as well as being fortunate to train with the best military instructors our Country has to offer.

Makes one appreciate the statement, “An armed society is a polite society”.

The socialist attempts to disarm Armerica will only result in empowering criminals.....

If you have a CC permit in one state.WHO APPROVED THAT PERMIT,(that weapons sale) ? ....The ATF/FBI...who IS the ATF/FBI ? ... The Federal (national) departments in charge of firearm sales.......... So.....
YOUR CC Permit SHOULD be HONORED in EVERY state ....PERIOD !

CC permits are approved by the state not Federal. My CC was approved by the state of Florida, recognized by 37 other states it was not approved or disapproved by Federal government.
