Hello All,

New to TreasureNet and I had my best find today metal detecting...or at least I think it is. Starte detecting about a year ago and got instantly hooked! I started coin roll hunting a few months ago and have been doing very well with dimes...ok with halves. Today I found my first "non junk" ring...I've pretty much been a coin shooter because...well it has a lot of return...from a quantity aspect. I decided Thursday to switch it up and start digging everything. After detecting Friday, Saturday and today it paid off. Here it is...let me know what you think. 13 grams found 2.5 inches deep in a soccer field and says PLAT 950.

I also say "Platinum Ring! Wow!", worth more than gold rings......so Great find. Keep us posted on your future finds.....it is always nice to find precious silver, gold or platinum.....guess it is just about the same as finding a raw gold nugget, but you can find rings anywhere and everywhere in the world......so Good Luck in the future.

Happy Hunting to ALL

"CHA -CHING!!!"
Very nice Ring.
It would be a shame to melt it down.

If married .
You could use it as a "Bling" replacement for original one.
That's what I do , Tho I cherish my original Wal-Mart 10k ring, the 18k w/diamonds look's better.
Just Saying

You are spot on that I HAD to share it on here lol. I told some friends and relatives but nobody really understands like the group on here does. I don't think I will ever find one quite as nice. Thanks and HH!

Yeah I don't think I will melt it down or sell it. Maybe someday if I need the cash but for now it is special to me and my girlfriend who was with me. I told her the night before "Tomorrow I'm gonna find something great...I know it". 25 minutes in and bam...so surreal to me. It was funny...after we were done and home for a few hours relaxing I couldnt take it anymore and had to go back out for an hour lol. Pocket full of junk but hey...it's all about the thrill!
