Please help me identify this.

I found this in the middle of a roll of nickels I was CRH. It was in a plastic bank wrap. It's the size of a nickel but thinner than a dime and if you can't tell by the pictures it's curved like a Pringle potato chip. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Might be the punch-out from an electrical outlet box. I recall a bunch of those being used as slugs when I was a kid; vending machines would on occasion take them.

I bet it's a dime that got run over by a train. You can see some of the copper peeking through on the edges.

Is it worth anything? I collect silver and this is not silver so I have no attachment to it.
