Yeah, I know Nick I was just taking someone's advice and posting it here.


Guess I'm not cool enough to hang with the CW dudes even though I only live three miles for a battle site. Oh well maybe when I find a neat button or a cool bullet.... :wink:

Noodle the only thing I know is that the house that used to sit on the site was built in 1900. There was also a barn on the site and another house built sometime after 1910 that burnt down about 40 years ago.

The lot was within 1 mile of the main road that lead to a ferry on the Mississippi River that Some Indians were put on during the Trail of Tears event and at one point at least a thousand troops crossed at the site by ferry during the war.
