River where? I can't tell much at all from your picture, but from what I can see it reminds me of petrified wood.

Found in Alabama. I don't think it's wood. Way to heavy. different angles on the sides. Sorry about the picture quality.

Perhaps just the photography, but that piece doesnt appear chipped at all. Some sort of polished tool...or maybe even just a geofact.

Keep looking.The river banks in Alabama are loaded. Be careful though they are discharing water like I have not seen in a long time. I am seeing giant trees floating by.

Unusual find. I have quite a few peices of Pet wood. You know its not at all light in weight, quite heavy actually.
Could do with clearer pics, if poss.
