Possible 1977 Kennedy Half Error?

Dug this 1977 Kennedy half yesterday and it appears to have some sort of error at the top and bottom of the obverse side.
Note that the 1 and the 9 are cut off at the bottom. The hook on the 9 is gone. The reeding on the bottom rim is intact and I will provide a picture when the wife gets up.
Also the top edge appears to have been struck more than once?
I'm not an expert on coin errors so your opinions are appreciated!

Off center strike.
 

yes, off center strike error. very nice find indeed. top part isn't doubled, but rather the result of the planchet slipping during the strike

Yes, misaligned die. An off center strike would be off on both sides.
