Possible Civil War button?

Found this in central ohio, it looks very similar to some of the civil war buttons ive seen. Also seen buttons from the war of 1812 that look like it as well. Really happy with this find, just wish I knew more about it. The back side wear shank would be is gone. What do you guys think?
