Does look old I cant even figure out what it may be I thought a brooch but that would be kinda overboard with all the pin things but for free good find hope you get an ID and a age. Is it silver?

It kind of resembles a Victorian sash buckle. It's a cool find no matter what it ends up being!

Buckle (probably sash) of some type........looks like sea shell/mother of pearl. If so, it doesn't look strong enough to be for a belt or shoe. Doesn't look mass produced, more like home made. Can't help on age, though looks like an older, but not as old as colonial, style to me. More art deco kind of look.
