Ok, surgery on Tues went well, biopsy results in about 30 minutes. 2 boxes of halves only got me 2 - 68-d's. I've done about 10 boxes thus far, with 0 - 90%'s.....argh!! Nickel box got me one 44-p, 51-p and a 51-d, along with 7 or 8 common pre-1960 dates. aI dont even bother keeping 57-d, 58-d or 59-d's....too common. I did get a nice au 1940-p and a unc 1965 which i kept. Not done with the penny box yet...oldest wheat was a '26-p, copper % is a lowly 12% or so.......much worse than the 22-25% i usually get. Looks like handrolled cents produce much more copper than boxes....at least up here in upstate NY.
