The red eye one's have been painted though so they won't bring 15 each. Is the yellow jitterbug wood? If yourw gping to pull one out, pull out the zara spook. It has blue around its eye and has silver ribs painted on its white body. If you dont mind I would like a link to your auctions beachkid.

I almost missed it (and may have missed something else, it's hard to see on my phone :laughing7:) the third one down in picture seven ( it is black) looks like a musky creek chub pikie. It needs pulled out by itself. Also, there appears to be a pike scale heddon vamp at the bottom of pic 2. Depending on the condition of the other side it could bring thirty bucks or so. There also appears to be another vamp that is probably worth 15 or so.

By the way, like you say there are several common ones in pic 1 worth $1 or less due to condition.

For some reason I decided to end the listing so I think I'll start pulling out and separating the stuff up. Might take a little while to get to it all but not like the pile of stuff in my room is going to get any smaller anyways.

There is one behind the blue spook. I don't see a name on it. I have to run some errands so I get back I'll put some more stuff up picture wise.

Sounds good. Actually, it looks like you have 2 of the pike scale vamps. If they are wood, probably $20 each or so, if they are plastic $10 or so, probably less honestly.

Also, in picture 7, what is the top one that is new in box?

Yeah, maybe too low, $80 w/ $20 shipping. I honestly don't have time to separate it out. But I kind of need the money too. I have a secret I haven't told anybody on the site (well maybe one person). But I'll break the news when it's finally finished.

Bought 2 fishing reels today. A penn 330gti and penn peer. $10 each.

I'd say that was fair. Good deal on the reels.

Is vintage casting line very collectible? I found these "Looboyle Coach Dog" "hard braided nylon" rolls of line at an estate sale over the weekend. I am thinking of listing them on eBay but can't find any other ones to compare them to. I think Looboyle was a sporting goods store in Tulsa, Oklahoma during the 1960's/70's.

From what I've saw line is collectible but not as much as lures or reels. Normally I see line bought for a type collection. For example yours would probably go good in a coach dog color lure collection.

Post your fishing related finds here. Lures, tackle boxes, rods/reels etc. I am interested in seeing what everyone is finding. If you've got any questions, I may be able to answer them as well.

How about finding this at a garage sale for $35?...:tongue3:

It's a 1952 Johnson 2 cylinder, 3hp outboard...

That is a cool looking engine. What do you do with something like that? Assuming it doesn't run? Refurbish it or sell as is?

If I get time, I'd like to get it running. If not, with all the "projects" I already have waiting, it will go to the highest buyer...

We'll see.

I got these vintage Lacrosse hip boots at the local thrift store for $5.00 . I have been buying a pair of Lacrosse hip boots every year since 1990 , because I'm a commercial shellfish harvester . I've never seen the Indian head logo on them when I started clamming back in 1990 . I showed them to an old clamdigger friend of mine , and he said the rubber they used back in the 70's to make these boots was far superior than the stuff they use today .

I'm not going to use these boots for clamming . Just fishing , fiddl

I'll have to post some pics next week. My Great Grandfather and Grand Father patented the first pre rigged plastic worm. The Catch Em Quick Lure. I have accumulated and awesome collection over the years. They had a large sporting goods store in Marion Indiana.

Our family still runs a sporting goods store to this day.
