I always like to read about pre-Clovis finds! It makes you really wonder just how little we know about how and when people first inhabited the Americas. Thanks for the link.

I don't doubt "pre clovis people" but I think they meant to say between 12,000 and 13,000 years ago, not 1,200 and 1,300 ::)

I have some pieces like they showed in the article. It was an interesting read.

I had read some other articles on this subject over the winter, seems totally feasible that there would be an older time period.

Most artifact hounds feel the era before clovis is very valid. These guys for the first time did the research correctly. The Archeological community is always slow to accept new ideas. Look at the dinosaur theory and how it has changed in just the last 20 years.
Pre Clovis is the same way.
