Print Blocks/Plates & A Large Intact Compact

Hi Everyone,

I hope you're taking advantage of warmer weather.
I started hunting on a brand new site - never been detected before.
This site was home to a log cabin and barn and later, a stick home that was razed around 1965.
No coins to be found today, but boy did I pull some relics!
I KNOW there are coins to be found, but right now, I'm just scratching the surface.

Here are the highlights of today's 5 hour hunt:

compact.jpg
This ladies compact is intact. (I did put a little boo boo on the face during digging)
It measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter and was found at a 4 inch depth.
Yes, I was able to open it.
No, it did not contain any coins. Grrr.

plate1.jpg
This print plate is roughly 4x2 inches and was found at a depth of three inches.

plate2.jpg
This print plate was found in two pieces.
It is also about 4x2 inches and was found at a depth of three inches.

plate3.jpg
Pieces from two more print plates.

If the weather holds out, I plan to be there again all day tomorrow.
I just know there are some real goodies waiting here.

Happy Hunting,

~Indiana Digger~
