There are silver and non silver proofs in the state quarters. Both have the S mint mark. Weigh them.

I think that if you look at the edge of the coin, and if you see copper with a silver colored metal, those are clad coins. But if it is a solid silver color, those should be silver coins.

Thanks I just was t sure on the mint marks that was my bad coulda stated my question better lol
