I went back the the early site today where I’ve found shoe buckles and a King George II 1732 coin recently. I found a Masonic cuff link, some flat buttons (one unusual) and this military button. From what I can tell, it’s a Queens Rangers 1st American button. Needless to say, I was stoked. Does anyone have more information on the button, I believe it’s Revolutionary War or earlier. Thanks!

Great find. Thanks for sharing. Love those rev war artifacts and especially cool when you can pinpoint the story behind why it got where you found it.

Awesome finds, that's a great button. There was another one here on the forum back in 2014 found by Flathead

Hey! I've seen this button before!...nice find! I found mine along the route the defeated regiment took back after surrender in Yorktown. And I also met the actor that played Simcoe in TURN in a Target parking lot. They filmed most of that series around Richmond. I was too startstruck to tell him I had found one of his buttons! The green uniforms they wear in the later seasons are the uniforms these buttons came off of. Very cool history associated with your button. Congrats!

How cool is that Flathead25! You should post a picture of your button here, I’d like to see it. Thanks!
