It's wondering if there is a minimum amount of coin you need before sending it in.

I have a 100.00 face of the 40%ers I'm thinking on dumping to increase my bank roll for hunting.

Just wondering. My local shop is low balling me a ton. I called about a week ago and they said 6.50 per pair.

Any ideas let me know.

It says right on the "sell to us" page $50 minimum.

Of course, you could call them to ask questions

$500.00 dollar minimum and I believe that is the worth of the silver/gold not the face value.

Thanks. I was out on the road and I wasn't able to get the page pulled up.

I'm new to this forum, metal detecting is my main hobby. I have sold a few of my coin "treasures" to provident metals and they seem to be pretty fair and the process is simple...which I like. The thing I like about their sell to us numbers is that they are tied to the price of each metal. So in your case, you can see what your coins are worth based on what silver is doing that day. I read that you're on the road so you can't see that now but you can check it out later. You probably found their phone number though... If not, it's 877-429-8790. Good luck, sorry to hear about your local coin shop. That's too bad, I don't have anyone local to me here but I wish I did!

Correct. Sorry I was on my phone at work and left off a zero. But, yeah, $100 face is well over the minimum ($971 today)

Maybe I'm not clear? For $1000 face value 40% (2000 coins) you should get about $9500.00! Each 40% half dollar coin is worth about $4.75 at today's spot price.

Oh.... you sold 1000 coins for $5000. Yeah, that is a good deal! Sorry for my confusion. I was thinking that someone may have taken advantage of you. My fault.

You'd have to get up a few years ago to outwit TimZim's silver smarts...
