Questions regarding the State Of Tennesse MD Laws

I am going to be visiting Sevierville, TN in the near future and wanted to bring along my Metal Detector. Can anyone tell me what the laws are around this area for hunting?
I will not be door knocking but am looking at just hitting local parks and playgrounds.
Any input as to laws or how I can get these?

Youre good to go in local parks/playgrounds/schoolyards. State and federal parks are off limits. And for chissakes don't even think about land 'owned' by TVA. If the Nazis ever make a comeback, the SS will recruit from TVA.

Might want to post in the TN subforum too; theres at least 1 fellow there that lives in Sevierville. Sorry, cant rem his handle but his name is Drew.

If champ says city and county parks are good-to-go, then you can't argue with a fellow TN md'r. However, one rule he forgot to tell you, is that you must pay me 30% of all your finds made there. I accept paypal. Good luck !
