Quick afternoon hunt

Got done work early today so decided to head out in the feild for an hour or so since the weather was so nice. This is the same feild i dug the french 2 sols coin in a few days ago. Managed to snag a few keepers. The thimble I consider my find of the day. Only the third silver one I have ever dug. And probably the best one I have ever dug aswell. Scored a 1900 Barber quarter, and a merc dime, plus a 1820 large cent which is in pretty good shape. Got it soaking will post a pic later. I think it will clean up nice. My last find of the day was an 1887 Indian. Not a bad hour or so in the feild.

Gosh, all of this from a "Quick Afternoon Hunt?" I think I would have kept at it and made it a long afternoon hunt! Great finds!
