Got out of work early. And how to begin a 3 day weekend? HIT SOME CELLAR HOLES! I decided to focus on a site that has only produced IH's and a few buttons....This site has ENORMOUS oak trees in a long line, so I figured I would focus on just the trees alone..and I"m very glad I did....right at the base of the tree I got a wild signal on the DFX...Quarter, Half Dollar, Dollar symphony ringing in my head...It took a good 20 minutes to pluck this puppy out but there she is, my first Barber Half. NIce to see such a big silver coin. Also pictured is the beat up shield nickle I found last sunday, another first. ANYHOW, my power steering pump took a crapper on the way home...the real work begins....thanks for lookin.

Yeah I know, kinda hard to look at....I usually take individual pics of coins on a nicer background...been in a rush lately.

Worth the trip! Big silver sure gets the heart racing.

That came up in the chat the other night... my only one is a 1944 found fairly recently.

Nice work there Sniffy! so far I have only found 1 of Mr. Barbers quarters and several of his dimes, if it had been me finding that I would have used bad words and shaken like a leaf! way to go and HH!
