I did a little test took the 4" coil I use on my BH IV. lower rod and all slapped it on the quickdraw pro and did some air test to see if coil would work.
my wedding ring 10k and a nickle bothed id 36 quarter 72-73. I hunt a lot of tot lots so i LIKE A SMALL coil. this set up works I don't need a lot of depth for tot lots and itseasy swap back to the 10" if hunt another area. overall the quickdraw pro so far is a winner.

I heard from others that the 4" for the 6.6 khz BHs didn't work very deep on the 7.8 khz BHs. But they do work. The 5" DD gets twice the depth. Are you getting around 3" like the others?

Like you said, no extra money for the shallow stuff. :icon_thumleft:

Depth not that great but works for totlots.
