Weather is going downhill quick here. Tropical wave is moving in and it looks like keylargo is gonna catch it on the chin tonight and tomorrow. Its raining and blowing already. Long day yesterday cutting what we could, and stacking it under tents before the storm. Got my finger pinched between two 400 pound slabs. Could have been much worse. I got lucky !! A mere flesh wound !!

Yup.....here they come !! I put the coals in the smoker for a giant pork butt, then walked to the neighbors to take care of the animals. By the time I got back I was soaked and my coals got rained out and my coffee was cold !! Not a good way to start the day !!
