Well as of now, I have a tub at work I use for my black magic table.
Constant temp around 78, after about 4 days started to get a bio film in it.
Ran my black magic added a touch (oz or two) of bleach to the 18 or so gallons of water.
And a touch of dish soap. I ran it a few more days and it seemed the bio film reduced.
I have to check it again been out a week.
My outside tub a large cement mixing tub from Home Depot was filled for a week or so,
then I started finding mosquitos in it.
Emptied it and left it dry.
I would like to set it up and not have to empty
it as often.. suggestions?

you can get mosquito pellets at Home Depot. In the pest control aisle.

I get panners in the store that foul my water with suntan lotion. Dish soap and a cap of bleach for every thirty gallons maintains the water pretty well. I still have to do a 50% water change every other week or so.

They are indoor.

My out door ones I just put bleach in and it kills the mosquitos and keeps them away.
