I seen a couple of other threads wondering about red Jasper and reminded me of this piece I found out agate hunting. Is this Red Jasper?

Lots of questions about jaspers lately. A picture helps and one can google a lot of them. Here are a few....
I'm inclined to say that is an agate material. Jaspers are usually not transparent and the crystalline grain is so fine that they appear smooth and waxy. Most fracture like flint.
