I was cleaning out my samples I brought back from the GPAA Crystal Claim the other day and found this in my pan. I immediately noticed the shape and pulled it out for further examination. I don't know if it's a garnet, agate, etc., but it looks like it was cut by human hands. My thinking is back in the day some miner was shaping this stone he found and must have dropped it. Any input would be appreciated. DSCF6268.JPG IMAG0471.jpg IMAG0484.jpg

Natural almandine garnet - relatively common(compared to a gold nugget) - thats my guess - nice little crystal! Hold it up to a bright light - should appear almost
transparent and dark red.
