Supposed to rain on the left coast starting Tuesday. Our streams and rivers are at summer lows. Been cold and dry out here for most of November and all of December.

This post needs to be moved to Red's "Stupid People" thread. Does NOT belong on this one... just my stupid opinion.
Stupid?:laughing7: Looks educated to me.

Or a heart attack, which ever comes first:sign10:I would just be worried about there being any kind of current, getting trapped under the ice would not be fun for the minute or so you have left to live.

Ok guy.... good answer. You surely don't want to end up on Red's "Stupid People" thread like Dave and I. But it is a hell of a shock or wake up call though... isn't it?

You two have far to go to top me on whoops-es. Sorry no pics.

Hey Red. They are careful around here. Lakes and shallow areas of them most common. On the river its more open and there are staff in event of trouble. Liabilities got to be watched. Heres one on a river south of here.Photos, video: See couples take the plunge into the Rogue River during the Sweetheart Splash | MLive.com (Note the rescue personnel on hand ,and a hot tub!)

Looks fun but I think I would still pass lol.

Easy there guy... I'd hate to hold a "whoops-es" contest with you... FYI: You'd be surprised how long you can windmill off the edge of a 18ft. treestand in the dark after getting that "I've leaned to far feeling" while bringing up your bow. I finally decided a "controlled jump" was better than a "free fall". Bad day. Sorry no pics either.

Tis cocktail time here in New England. What better than a simple colonial drink.Hot Buttered Rum for a cold evening
I just made a simple cup,tastes pretty darn good:occasion14:

Heres mine

10 or 12 oz mug

Depending on taste

1 to 2 ounces of dark rum or light if you prefer.

3 teaspoons dark brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of butter(God forbid dont use margarine:laughing7: YUK)

Place ingredients in your mug, fill with hot water(dont boil, boiling kills alcohol:laughing9:)
