I did a little research on the internet and found a site that has 1934 and 1965
aerial photos of Connecticut. I was looking at a 1934 picture of a lake near me
and noticed that a small peninsula of land now, was a small island connected
by a causeway in 1934. The causeway is overgrown with trees making it look
like part of the shore now but it was once a short road connecting the island.
It's very overgrown but you can see the remains of some stone walls and a
cellar hole. The very first target I dug was a 1945 mercury dime and four wheats
1942 1946s 1951 and a no date, I also got some clad.
