I went out yesterday to try and finish the yard I was hunting monday. I spent about 3 hours out there and just about ended up with a blister on my hand from all the wheaties. I believe I set a record for the most wheaties I have dug in a day. I was also blessed with a few more mercs, an indian, a trade token, and a weird button. The dates were:
Mercs: 1942-D and 1943-S
Indian: 1892
Wheaties: 1910, 1916, 1917-D, 1917-S, 1920-D, 1923, 1925, 1930-D, 1940, 1941, 2 1942-D's, 5 1944-D's,
2 1944's, 2 1945-D's, 1946, 1946-D, 2 1951-D's, 1955-D 8)

That is nice mess of finds you have there. Those tokens get me going and I love seeing them. Thanks for sharing!

If that aluminum trade token were mine, and since the corrosion is extensive and interferes with the design somewhat, I would use a brass bristled brush on that one.

This technique is not for all tokens, but I think you would be very pleased by the results. It will still have the pitting where the corrosion has destroyed the surface, but the rest will look much better.

Just lightly use the brass bristled brush on it, and you will immediately know how to do the rest.
I know exactly what your talking about. I have a dremel with a brass brush wheel that I'll probably use on it.
