Hello everyone. I'm a bottle collector from RI, but I also have a soft spot for metal artifacts. I currently own more than 1,400 different bottles from Rhode Island, including medicine, soda, beer, whiskey, and milk bottles. This is my lifelong passion and I hope to open a museum one day.

One cannot avoid finding a lot of cool artifacts while digging for bottles. From small glass buttons to buried cars, I've seen a lot! I have found a handful of coins, which mainly consist of wheat pennies, and more recently a few more collectible examples (Indian heads, Mercury dimes, V nickel, Standing liberty quarter). I have also found a lot of buttons, which is my main reason for joining the site. I live near an old mill which I believe recycled old clothing. I will make a post about this particular site in the future.

While I do not own a metal detector, I plan to get one soon. There are dozens of different locations I'd love to explore.

And when you do get one, you will be addicted.... Welcome and HH

You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: Rhode Island for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.
