My sons new metal detector arrived today so I took him out for an hour to try it out and get a feel for it. He figured out how to pinpoint right away and has started getting a grasp of the different VDI numbers compared to White’s readings. He found $1.19 in clad and a heart shaped pendant about 5 inches deep. I must admit I am surprised by this little GC1032 Chinese detector. It doesn’t have the feel of my V3i or DFX but it seems to be a decent beginner machine so far and for $59.00 delivered cant beat the price. If he loses interest I’m not out much.
