found this ancient campfire site...only a few scattered pieces of carbon, migrating downhill...
not a scrub above knee height...wood had to be packed in from around 35 miles away
this ember is almost a stone...can still thumb nail test...

this carbon does not want me to photograph it...every photo went out of focus...?
