We got togged up to brave the weather & got far less rain than expected, so it was an OK session - 3 hours. (plus the wind had died off)
We are now gridding the Southern edges & the coins go far lower than we expected, still no Roman silver after 200+ bronzes!

15 Scrappies
Lead Token
Tudor Clothes Fastener
Medieval strapend
Mystery Roman Artefact (broken)
Roman Bracelet frag
The hammered silver Penny of Edward I, nearly made me swallow my heart! For a second the 'golden hue' (never had one quite like it) made me think gold hammered.:laughing7:

Wow Cru - your bag of roman booty keeps getting heavier. What a month you're having! Love the hammered too. I can see why you're saying that was a heartstopper ......

That's a real different toning to the hammered for sure, congrats on the nice find.

Brewer's waste can't all that bad, cereal & Hops, and some stink. It's better than the e-waste that's full of burnt aluminum crap which totally screws up a field forever.

They spread that type of e-waste as well in the main area, we have just got to clear it, like another site of ours. Nothing screws it up for ever, if you clear it, but it takes time.

This is by far the largest site we have plotted, it will be easily 15 acres of scattered coins/artefacts.

Very very nice what do you do with all your finds
You must have thousands of bits n bobs
Do you sell some off or are they all filed
