Had fun day digging relics at a new spot. We had our eye on this spot and got permission to hunt it. Did ok and dug a few keepers. My buddy John dug a cool button that has what appears to be a strawberry on it! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Tim

Nice job....that button looks more like an old perfume atomizer than a strawberry....I am wondering if its not a perfume button....doing the civil war a button like this was covered with velvet and the ladies sprayed their perfume with it...then gave it to their loved one going off to war.....

Great find looks like a Victorian metal button,they came in different designs and date back to the 1700's-1800's.
