Just curious---do you work the grass near the building or do you do the game fields and tot lots? I am always afraid to go up by the building in case someone gets really mad that I am digging up the nice grass. I never ever get as much as you got when I go to schools on weekends. Guess I need to be a little bolder...Thanks

Most finds come from the play areas. some from under the trees. Once you get pinpointing down digging is rarely needed I use a brass chopstick to flip the coin out of the ground. Most of the time you would never even know some one had been there. when I do dig I cut a plug around the find once its recovered I replace the plug.

That sounds like an interesting tool. Where can I get a brass chopstick from? ???

Nice finds! Is that a silver Rosey off to the lower right of your photo?
