After a few years of detecting I finally found my first seated coin two weeks ago. It was a dime from 1875. So on Memorial Day I decided to go back to the same site.

In two hours I found a 1854 Seated Half Dime, another 1875 Seated Dime, a large cent and two Indian Head cents. All the coppers were too deteriorated to get dates. The site is a farm and the fertilizers are hell on the coppers.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Thank everyone...I went back to the farm and the field was already planted. Took an hour and went around the edge where it was not planted but did not find anything.

I did not see a mintmark on the Half Dime.
