I had a great weekend & saved some nice pieces of history! I got on a new site, a church that was built in the late 1700s. My best finds were an 1875 seated liberty dime & a .55 caliber Confederate New Austrian bullet. These bullets were actually produced in Raleigh, NC. at the School of the Deaf and Blind which was turned into an ammunition lab by the State of North Carolina to supply the State Troops serving the Confederacy (scarce bullet). I also found 2 mercury dimes & some other interesting relics. Any help on the mystery items would be appreciated! Thanks for looking & HH!
