Found my oldest silver coin yesterday a 1875 seated liberty dime. No pictures yet as i don't have a camera yet. Went out for a
couple of hours last evening to a old peach shed that was being torn down to make way for a new dollar general store.
they had taken the top soil off so i though i might get some older coins there. Have hunted it be for and found 3 Merck's.
1926 s, 1928, 1942 and a few Rosie's. Was there about 15 min or so and got a dime signal. dug a plug removed the dirt
scanned the dirt nothing scanned the hole nothing. Put the dirt back into the hole. Thought maybe ought to check one more
time. got the dime signal again pulled the dirt back out of the hole and out poppedthe dime.
recheck the hole be for you give up.

Congrats on the Seated dime.

Way to recognize an opportunity and to pounce on it. Glad it paid off.

Good advice about rechecking the hole.

Too cool Dooley and congrats. I found a 76 CC dime up here in Colorado a couple of months ago only an inch down in an area where you normally wouldn't look and I was pretty stoked. Hope you get a camera so you can post us some pics later on. Good huntin!

Need photo proof. Kidding, 14 posts and ya get a Seated? Very impressive.

That sure is a great find....Matt
